A Thank You Note and Pictures for You!

I've recently had the pleasure of gaining more followers thanks in large part to Brenda's FYBF.  Anyone who has met her through blogging can agree that Brenda is wonderfuly talented and all together fabulous. I love her attitude. It was the first thing that caught my attention. She's spunky, feisty, cute and friendly all rolled up into one tiny little frame. I can't say enough about her without sounding like a stalker I'm gushing. hehehe
So I wanted to thank Brenda for FYBF. I also wanted to thank you. Yeah you. Even those of you who just lurk around. Yup you in the back there. I'm talking to you too. I want to just give you all a big squeeze. But I know that might not be a good idea 'cause I'm a big girl and I juuuust might crush some of you.
However, I do have some words for you (and pictures) instead. In the spirit of fellowship and friendship I'd like to welcome and thank all of you who have recently started following me. I appreciate your support and I am looking forward to getting better acquainted with you through reading more of your posts. I'm pretty sure I've read most of your blogs already(and if I haven't I promise I will) and I am very impressed with your stories and writings and photographs. You guys are so awesomely talented and funny and cute. I'm grateful to be able to connect with all of you as my blog friends even though we may never meet in person.
I am also grateful for those of you who have been following me for a while. I never imagined anyone would follow me other than my own family (the people who support and love me no matter what) and I'm so humbled and thankful to all of you for taking the time out to read my ramblings. I even appreciate those of you who don't comment. I know it's not everybody's thing to comment and I get that. Trust me I really do.
Since I can't hug you I thought posting these pictures might suffice. They were taken in Las Vegas during my visit there for the WPPI convention. Enjoy. Luv ya!

I'm so Sick of You Notme! Go Away Forever!

Notme. A name I've given to the person that has eluded me since the beginning of my years as a mother. Be on the lookout for one in your home. Today he dropped his chimichanga wrapper on the floor in the kitchen and left it there. I know it was you Notme, Leti told me it was you. If I had a dime for every time you did something like that I'd be rich as Melinda Gates. You know yesterday you left the mayonnaise out? Do you know my family could get sick if it's left out too long? What about when you ate popcorn in the living room and it was all over the carpet? Yeah Leti said it was you too. When I asked him who made the popcorn mess he flat out said "Notme." You were conveniently not present to give an account of what you did. But I'm on to you.
Today I went downstairs and saw your dirty work. The Easter candy wrappers between the cushions of the couch...classic. I haven't seen that one in let me see...THREE DAYS! Don't try to deny it. All of my kids saw you do it. My grandsons and nephews saw you as well. Yep, they're on to you too. I don't know how you get away with so much crap. You make me sick. How can you live with yourself? Not taking any responsibility for your actions? Do you have a mother? I'd like to have 5 minutes alone in a room with her. Just 5. The poor woman probably doesn't even know what kind of life you're living. Yeah I knew it.
I am so sick of you Notme. Pack your things and leave this instance and please don't come back ever again!

My Grandbaby Turned 1!

I still can't believe my little princess Kelis is 1!
We celebrated her birthday with a pizza party and fun rides and games at Boondocks.
The kids had so much fun!
Kelis, try not to grow up too fast sweety!
I love you with all my heart and wish you many days of happiness and love.
Forever and always love.
xoxo

More of the Mesi's

One piece of advice I've been given over and over again as a new photographer is to "keep shooting."  No matter what. So if you think you might be having a case of deja vu while viewing my blog you probably are. If you can't already tell, I shoot my family. A lot
They are readily available (and frankly, sometimes I give them no choice).
Tehehehe.
Here are a few more shots of my grandnephews Dice and Kalvin along with their proud grandparents Kathy and her husband David.
Looking at the babies just makes me want to go over there and take more pictures of them.

Miss Ariana

Always has a smile on her face and always camera ready.
I think we may have a future top model on our hands here folks.
Love you Ari! Keep smiling.

Welcome to the world Baby Kalvin.

I just love newborns.
This bundle of joy is baby Kalvin and his mommy is my beautiful niece Klarissa.
Kalvin is so adorable and cuddly.
It's no wonder babies bring so much joy into our lives.
I know Kalvin has brought much happiness to his family already.
I pray he has a long and blessed life ahead of him.
Kalvin, aunty loves you. Thank you for being so good for me.
Congratulations Rissa, he's gorgeous.

The Mesi Women

Korina, Klarissa, Loriann and Katrina

I blogged about my cousin Kathy  and our ghetto days before. I have many memories with her as a child that I will always cherish. This picture right above was taken in Utah. We hid in the trunk of my aunt's car who was driving to Utah from California for a visit (a 9-10 hour drive). I'm not sure how long we were in there before we were discovered. I'm sure that was when my aunt pulled over and called our parents. Can you believe we did that before anyone had cell phones? I would've had a heart attack if any of my kids did that!
Rebels! I tell ya!
Well, now we're all grown-up and our kids are having kids. She definitely doesn't look like a grandma to me. Here she is with her beautiful girls. In case you couldn't tell she's the one on the far left in picture #3.
Love you ladies!

Baby Dice @ 2 months

Loriann and her precious baby boy Dice.
These are his 2 month pictures and as you can tell he's coming along quite well.
You're doing a great job Loriann. Keep it up. Love you guys!

p.s: I sent your Dad a copy of you and baby's pic.
