Introducing: The Tapusoa Family

It's hard to believe this beautiful family has never had any "formal" pictures done.

I've known Rachel and Howard since we were kids.

We all grew up in the same church and saw each other every Sunday during our days at Lynwood ward .

They've been living in Utah for several years now and have six beautiful children, and 

I've always liked that their kids' names aren't common.

Without further ado meet the Tapusoa's and their kids:

Myles, Colby, Iversyn, Brooklyn, Jerzy and Angelys.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!

Had a photoshoot with my nieces and one of my daughters.

We had the best time getting made-up and laughing and enjoying each other's company.

It's important for a girl to feel beautiful and equally important that her family lets her know just how beautiful she is - a girl just has to hear it.

The world is full of cruel people who like to fill our minds with doubts about ourselves.

I want my nieces and my daughter to know how beautiful they are - inside and out.

Don't ever let anyone tell you any different girls!

I love you to pieces.

The Salt Lakers

Here are some of the youngest Laker fans (and Laker girl) I've come across and they live in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Their parents have roots in L.A and are true to the Lakers.

These cuties have graced my blog before and they are always a joy to shoot.

Monkey Nation

Had an impromptu photo shoot with my little monkeys - don't be offended people that's just a pet name we call the little kiddies in our family (in this case they're my grand babies and my two nephews).

They were lots of fun and full of energy.

I still can't figure out how I kept up with my kids when they were this young.

I love these kind of photo shoots - the unplanned ones.

They usually turn out to have the best results - and this one was no exception.

It's a four-day weekend for us. 

I am going to spend it with the kids and grandkids.

Look Who's Turning 1!

I had a fabulous time capturing Kierstyn's personality.

She's fun, daring, and very smart (and not to mention cuuuute).

She turns a year old this month!

I hope you have the best birthday ever mama!

p.s this was my first time shooting in a studio setting. Thanks to the hubz for my Christmas present (studio background and lighting - he's awesome and deserves some extra "special time"hehehe)
