Walk For Lupus

I believe this has been the fourth year we have participated in the walk for lupus. It all started when we found out my niece Emeline was diagnosed with it. Although she is no longer with us we still walk in her memory, and for all the other members of our family who have recently been diagnosed with lupus.

 These two ladies are uh-mazing! Noelle (left) is  is the President and CEO of the Lupus Foundation (Utah Chapter) and was diagnosed with lupus a few years ago. Annette (right) is the Development Director and joined the foundation after her daughter was diagnosed with lupus. They do so much for the foundation and are always friendly and kind. I love them to death!

Kalolaine Fangupo:: Class of 2011

Had a fabulous time with the wonderful Laine. She comes from a great family and is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. She's a communications major and graduates this June. She has plans to finish college after a little break. 

I love young adults with a plan. 

Congratulations Laine!

Vegas Fun

Mother's Day weekend was the best ev-er. We went on a road trip with my husband and our kids/grandsons to California. On our way back we stopped in Vegas for dinner.
We had a great time together and the kids didn't even fight. Not once. That was the icing on the cake for me.  I was one happy Mama!

Sunday Selection: I Know a Name

  I'm using an image from my phone to participate in Kim's photo meme.

It's Mothers Day, and I'm blogging from my hotel room in Baker, California. We rode along with my husband in his truck and he got us a room so we could all sleep comfortably. He wanted me to wake up happy on Mothers Day. Whatta guy! :)

  Anyway, back to the meme. This is my mom. Whenever I see her face I think of the words of this Primary song:

Best Week Ever

I've been missing this little girl.

Before Monday, I only saw her for a few hours on Easter.

Before that, the last time I saw her was the first week of March!

She's been here since Monday, and I've been enjoying every minute with her.

She loves the Barney song (I love you, you love me),
and I recorded her singing a bit of it.

She's so irresistable!

I just love my grandbaby Kelis.

And...I finalized my logo and watermark. Yippee!

Texture Fun

I tend to get bored and like to explore and experiment with Photoshop, but that can be time consuming.  If I come across a product that makes life easier (and saves me time), I almost always give it a try.
I came across Flypaper Textures the other day and fell completely in love with all their textures and photographic overlays. Here are a few of the textures I got from them that I used on my own picture.

Baby Ana - Infants

My newest niece Ana.

I love this tiny bundle of joy.

Newborns are so sweet.

I got to babysit Ana last Saturday, and I enjoyed it. Immensely.

Had a great time with Lina and Alex.

It was one of the easiest shoots I've had to date.

We laughed and joked and it was just an awesome session.
